Teaching, A Very Rewarding Profession

Teachers will be going back to work again this coming June 10 here.  This week most of them have been back in their classrooms in preparation for the school opening.

Teaching is very rewarding profession.  Molding and shaping the future of the children as the hope of the land, lies in their hands.  They create doctors, nurses, teachers, engineers, businessmen, dentists, mechanics, electricians and other professionals in the challenging field of local if not global competition.  Day and night teachers work.  During election periods, their lives are at stake in preserving democracy. Teaching may not be a lucrative profession but it is a very productive one.

The first day of school is a very critical day for them.  According to Harry Wong, author of the "First Day of School", the first day spells what the classroom would be for the entire year.

I do agree. Naging guro din ako pero di ko kinaya ang hirap. Nakakamatay lalo n wala ka ng boses at dry na ang lalamunan mo pero kailangan mong magsalita. Ang hirap pero rewarding.

Hi Imelda, salamat sa comment on one of my recent posts.

I actually want to get a certification in teaching. Maybe one of these days, I would follow that dream. :)
