It has been on the news on June 7 and 8 of this year that the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) suspended its Automated Teller Machine (ATM) online, and mobile channel access for clients due to an internal data processing error. It has sincerely apologized to its clients for whatever inconvenience this incident might have caused. BPI has corrected all mis-posted ATM transactions made last April 27 to May 2 that were incorrectly re-posted on June 6.  Entries to correct these were made on June 7 and 8.  BPI assures its clients that no breach of their systems has occurred, nor is this a case of hacking.  It further assures that it continues to maintain a high standard of data integrity and security.  All systems and operations are now back to normal. I am glad I was not affected with this.
