The prices of basic commodities are without let up in increasing. It is a rare chance if you hear the prices of basic commodities going down and steady for a longer period of time. One can compare that a hundred dollar bill can already buy many grocery items then than now. The only chance now where one can buy more  out of his money is to avail of free grocery coupons printable at home or anywhere else. I have tried this many times and it is such a great help.  In these times where almost all prices are soaring up, a little discount of money for commodities can be very helpful. Many have tried this and it worked.  Maybe you might try this  for yourself, too and see how it works.

During trainings of the disaster risk reduction and management team in every barangay, I always emphasize that each disaster operations center must have a first aid kit.  The first Aid Kit Shop is a good reference on what to buy as a first aid kit.  It is a big advantage for preparation purposes to have a first aid kit as when there are emergency situations that need immediate attention, the first aid kit will be a big help. Every household and every home must have a first aid kit readily available and displayed in a strategic location. I have one at home and it has served its purpose many times to the members of my family.

Gosh, helper has sore eyes. Good she told me that she has. I did not like her to infect us with this virus so I have to let her go home. This means that we have to do the chores while she is experiencing this viral infection in her eyes. My leave from office will be spent doing the chores at home I guess. Well, the kids are here and they have no more classes, already. They can help me do the chores.

Christmas parties abound and there are always door prizes given away. It is one of the exciting parts in the Christmas parties I attend to, the others are dancing and singing. I hope in the coming Christmas parties to win a  Panasonic industrial microwave or a similar kitchen ware. How lucky would I be if this happens. I can use this immediately this Christmas holidays. Two more days to go and it is already Christmas. My cooking abilities will be tested once again. If Santa Claus is listening I hope he grants me this wish.

Ever walked into a building with a seemingly engineered flooring?  Well, I have gone into such a building like in plosh hotels who have engineered flooring. All I can do is admire and wish that my room, at least only my room in the house, could have such a flooring. But, who knows in the future if I plan to rehabilitate my house I will go for this kind of flooring. To me it is slip free and ensures my protection from slip disc should I accidentally have a fall. It is advisable for elderly citizens and to toddlers.

With the start of September, television and radio stations aired Christmas songs in their early morning programs. When I heard it, I said to myself Christmas is just around the corner. Very soon, I would be thinking already of the Christmas gifts to give to children and adults alike. One choice of gifts I had in mind is the candle holder? Well, why not? A candle holder last longer, especially when taken extra cared of, it is useful during candle light dinners and during power break outs and it is relatively cheaper than other gifts. Where to buy quality candle holders? Easy, the link here will lead to it once clicked.

Have you ever experienced going home one day to find that the computer and or any of your other major home appliances was not functioning? Well, if it happens at a time when you have no money to immediately replace or make necessary repairs for the damaged equipment, it could really be a major reason for you to scratch your head. You would have no reason to scratch your head if you happen to have a Total Protect Home Warranty for the repair and replacement of your major home appliances. If this is something new to you, well, it is for me, too. I need to read more on what is this all about because this sounds interesting. So, off I go to read in the net thoroughly about this.

I abhor people who have the nerve to hurt fellow human beings. I abhor it more when children and women fall prey to ruthless criminals. I was watching a television segment one night and I was amused at how cases were easily solved. If this cases were easily solved, it is either the victims or respondents have great lawyers who can really prosecute and or defend their clients and bring out the naked truth. For domestic violence cases, there is no room to lose hope. There are great lawyers out there waiting to offer their expert services. For a San Diego Domestic Violence Case, for instance, one can contact the San Diego's top criminal defense law firm to defend and or prosecute his or her case. I am sure if respondents of domestic violence cases are prosecuted and meted with the penalty of imprisonment, no doubt that people who are prone to doing this will have second thoughts of committing domestic violence acts, again.

Gosh, there is no water running in our pipelines until now that is already past midnight. I do not know what seem to be the problem. If water does not gush out from the pipelines, there will be no water in our faucets for our consumption. If that happens, early morning tomorrow we will fetch water in the wells outside our subdivision.I hope the water company will fix whatever the problem is with its distribution pipes.

Across our house I saw many ripe guavas that fell down the ground and their aroma could be smelled from our house. I asked my helper to ask the guavas and when we were allowed, we had a plate full of guavas. I plan to make a guava jam tomorrow out of them. My neighbor says we could harvest the guavas if we like since they can not eat all the ripe guavas by themselves. Tomorrow, we will and I will just give them guava jam in return.

I went home today to initiate and lead my sons in cleaning the water tank that was able to suction almost muddy colored water running in the water pipes. This morning, we bath on it out of no choice. Last Saturday, the water in the main pipelines was turbid and my pump sucked it to the water tank. Now, I am glad that the water tank is cleansed again. In fairness, the water in the pipelines today was crystal clear. We pumped clear water to the water tank.

I want to have a haircut after the training. It has been for months now that I have been sporting a long hair. It has grown considerably long. I want it cut shorter and layered. Having a long hair needs maintenance in hair shampoos and conditioners. At least, if I have it shorter I can save on shampoos and conditioners. Oh, I am always thinking of saving. Why not? Being a single mother with sons schooling in private schools and a niece thru college is such a big expenditure to think about. Saving a few bucks means a lot in this times. I hope to save somehow despite of my financial liabilities now. Few of the things I can save on is my hair maintenance and maybe less shopping now on new clothes.

How time flies. It is another school year and classes will resume tomorrow, June 15. The house will be silent again after my kids leave for school and will have a sign of life, again once they go back in the afternoon. I have no house help for now but I have a laundry woman who will come over to wash soiled clothes. She will clean the house and cook before she leaves in the afternoon. It is such an agony without house help. I hope to find a stay in house help, soon.

Yes, the airconditioning unit downstairs has been installed now. I can linger longer now downstairs than staying in my room upstairs where even if it is airconditioned the heat still persists because of the low ceiling. Now, I can bloghop more often since the heat will no longer disturb me. My itching is slowly vanishing now. The oatmeal lotion and betamethasone cream are working wonders on me.

The inconvenience of water tanker just installed is felt now. Since the pipeline was already directed to the water tanker, there is no water flowing in our sinks and in the bathroom. The water should flow tonight to fill in the water tanker, otherwise we would have no water for cleaning purposes. Well, this would mean I would stay up late tonight to wait for the strong water pressure fill up the tanker.  I hope the water will really rise without need of a motor pump.

Cooking, laundry, ironing, or cleaning the house? My favorite chore at home is cleaning the house from my bedroom, to the living room, kitchen and to the rest room. Cleaning is my favorite stuff, its as if i find relief once i see the house clean and organized. But, there is a problem when my system gets engulfed with laziness. I just avoid cleaning and instead task our helper to do the cleaning, and i make a close supervision.

I am very meticulous on dusting the furnitures and other areas of the house. My helper gets wary i know when i become meticulous and makes her repeat all over the cleaning to my satisfaction. I have planned of buying a new vacuum cleaner to clean on tough dirts . Timely enough, i saw on the net about Dirt Devil .  It has to be good because it got an Energy Star approval and the first cordless AccuCharge cleaning technology vacuum cleaner, which has a better way to save energy. The new AccuCharge Stick Vac and Hand Vac use 70% less energy. It is all i need with the rising cost of electricity, a cost-efficient vacuum cleaner, handy and optimum cleaner.    5238dd240x180public

Always having a periodic check on gas stoves for possible gas leaking is always important.  I never knew how important it is than just now.  There was a hose leaking in the gas stove connecting to the liquified petroleum gas.  Due to wear and tear, the hose had some perforations without my knowing it.  When niece opened it to cook rice, she never noticed that behind the stove it was also flaming. Good that my laundrywoman came in the kitchen and noticed the fire flaring behind the stove.  Trembling, she hurriedly turned off the stove, the gas tank and put in a wet rag to the already conflagrating hose.  In all these, my niece never noticed what was happening in the kitchen. I was squirming while she narrated the story. It happened eleven days ago.  All my niece told me while i was in the office was the hose of the gas stove needed to be replaced as it was just noticed by her to be leaking. I bought a replacement right away after i got home that day.  Never knew that had it not been for my laundrywoman, my children's lives would have been endangered and my house would have burned down.

I read that it is ideal to replace the gas stove hose and gas regulator every two years.  I will always remember this, so as not to endanger again my children's lives and properties.
